Mill Creek Foursquare takes very seriously the goal of preparing couples for marriage. We want to help those who are dating to make good decisions about who and why they are dating. For those who are engaged, we want to prepare them with a couple-per-couple mentoring process where a safe, authentic, and honest environment is set to deal with issues of marriage. We have a design for counseling with first-time marriages as well as those who have been married previously.
The MC4 pre-marriage program is eight meeting sessions using a curriculum as the starting point for teaching and discussion. Each couple is assigned a marriage mentor couple to partner with them through this counseling journey. The end goal is to prepare couples well for marriage and life and to offer wisdom if there are issues of concern.
